Great Vintage: Bootleg in Chico, CA

Over the years, I have found some of my favorite vintage items at Bootleg. It’s a magical place and I could spend hours every single time I visit Chico perusing and trying on incredible items to bring home with me.

1) This crazy (incredible) sweater, above, with Angora shoulders and gorgeous sequins that is one of my all-time favorite pieces in my wardrobe:

This is the same exact sweater, and this is a very close match. I am OBSESSED with this embroidered one, so you better grab it before I do - look at how beautiful she is:

2) Vintage Leather Dooney & Bourke bag:

Truth be told, I’m not typically a big Dooney & Bourke girlie, but I fell in love with this bag the second I saw it. I love that it’s all leather, it is in perfect condition, and it matches my Everlane loafers for when I want to wear my “teacher outfit.” It has an easy vibe and is well constructed.

I did also carry my new D&B bag to Honky Tonk night, with my Lonesome Rose tee-shirt, an old belt buckle we found while cleaning out my grandparent’s house, a pair of wide barrel-leg jeans (similar high and low options here), and a vintage faux fur jacket.
